José Agatonice Brito is the COO of TECFIBRA & GLASTEC. He graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE) and holds postgraduate qualifications in Safety Engineering and Production Engineering from the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB). Additionally, he earned an MBA in Business Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV). Throughout his career, he has worked as a mechanical engineer in various companies, specializing in mechanical maintenance and project management. His responsibilities included planning activities, material specification, non-destructive testing, and pipe and equipment assembly. Since May 1996, he has been a partner in TECFIBRA & GLASTEC, focusing on non-metallic pipe and equipment using fiberglass, composites, and plastic materials. The company serves industries such as chlor-alkali, oil and gas, sanitation and construction, pulp and paper, and mining/metallurgy, providing composite solutions throughout Brazil and others countries.
