Fabio Barbosa, PRESIDENT of the CLOROSUR Board of Directors, joined Braskem in 2018 and currently holds the position of Director of the Vinyl Business. He holds a degree in Business Administration, an MBA in Finance from Insper, and a specialization in General Management from Harvard Business School. He began his career in 2004 at Dow Química where, for almost 10 years, he held various positions in the areas of finance, marketing, strategy, and leadership of the chloro-alkali business in Latin America. He was also responsible for business development in the international market for Oxiteno between 2013 and 2018.

Professor MARIO holds a Master's and Doctorate in Water Resources and is a Senior Postdoc at the Environmental Center of the University of Kassel, Germany. He is the Scientific Coordinator of the Disaster Education and Research Center at the University of São Paulo. He is also a Research Associate at the Center for Applied Mathematics for Industries at the Center for Research in Artificial Intelligence Engineering and at the CBIOCLIMA. Professor MARIO has experience in projects, solutions, and innovations in sanitation and health, uncertainty modeling, ecohydrology, water footprint, resilient water resources, and adaptation to climate change for vulnerable communities.

She also is CI’s primary representative to CSB, EPA, OSHA and DHS.

Helmut Lademann – General Manager; R2
Dr. Helmut Lademann studied chemistry at the Universities of Cologne and Münster in Germany, where he completed a Ph. D. in electrochemistry in 1991. He spent his whole career in the Chlor-Alkali industry in different roles including 4 years in engineering, commissioning and cell development as well as 12 years as a manager of a chlor-alkali facility in Cologne while it was converted/expanded from mercury to membrane technology. In 2008, he joined R2 as General Manager of R2's German subsidiary in Cologne.
He played a major role in the development of the new generation of EMOS® SIL2 safety system for membrane cells, predictive maintenance tools and process optimization software, which are now used by all major Chlor-Alkali producers world-wide.
Furthermore, he spearheads the Advanced Analytics Services and provides valuable assistance to R2’s customers by customized maintenance strategy trainings as well as helping them solve sophisticated problems, train them on how to identify what can go wrong in a cell room and put together countermeasures to avoid irreversible damages and to achieve operational excellence.

Frank Reiner; The Chlorine Institute
Frank has been President of the Chlorine Institute since June of 2010. In this role he is responsible for day-to-day operations in all of the Institute’s areas of activity. The Institute’s activities are focused on improving safety and security performance in production, distribution and use of chlor-alkali chemicals.
Frank joined the Chlorine Institute as Vice President of Transportation and Emergency Preparedness in October, 2005. He was responsible for facilitating Institute task groups by working to meet the challenges to chlorine transportation and promoting effective emergency preparedness. In that role he had represented the Institute as a member of several industry groups including the Association of American Railroads Tank Car Committee, the Federal Railroad Administration Rail Safety Advisory Committee, and the Next Generation Rail Tank Car Project External Advisory Panel.
Prior to joining the Institute, Frank was employed by Union Tank Car Company as Director, Shop Operations. Frank began his career in the rail industry at Union Tank Car in 1989 as a project engineer focusing on stress analysis. He held various technical positions including Chief Product Engineer at Union Tank Car prior to joining UTLX’s Shop Operations group in 2001.
